Probably a dumb question but here goes.....

Are the Baja rims painted?? I've been polishing up all the aluminum on my bike and when I got to the rims nothing happened....no shine!! So I was looking at them and they seem to be painted.

Not sure. But you could always powdercoat them black.

Can you mount the front baja rims on a 00 or 01 model DS? Would this help correct some of the front end issues on the 00/01 ds? Can you order the baja front rims?

Hey steve, yeah, you could do that, but I don't suggest it. The rims are painted, like said, so they look dull, and my rims are so bent up, I almost can't ride on them. With the added weight of the reinforcement rings, I would just get steel rims. I'm getting some steel rims. My front's are in the shape of a lemon.
