I found a set of used RWR all-around cams that come with the RWR stage 2 kit, and springs with a ported intake, and Tm45 for sale. The question is, do I need to use a piston with valve cut-outs to run those cams, and RWR springs? If so, I need to know where to find one.

How is this cam for trails, hillclimbs, and drag racing? Anyone have these cams, and like to comment?

And is there any extra work I will need done, when installing these mods, or is it pretty much a "drop in and go" installation?

I have been wondering, How do you know when it is time to add a bigger carb? Each carb is capable of handling so much, so how do you know when you have reached the max the carb is capable of supporting? Money is important so why waste it when you dont NEED a carb yet? I am thinking that you will begin to see rich readings all the time as the carb is no longer able to flow the amount of air that is needed. Is this the case?

Adam~
I thought you had planned on selling the DS and getting a Raptor? Did you see the light and decide not to jump off the bandwagon?

No way would I ever sell the DS and get a Raptor. Hopefully I will soon own both, but If I cannot, I would choose the DS over the Raptor any day.

Is the piston an easy drop in intall or is there more to it. Does it require a lot more engine work.

What kind of gains can you expect with a hi-comp piston. How much do they run.

So without any engine work it's probably not worth it right? What is your thought on the 45. Seems as though eveyone is mixed on that subject.
