Guys do you think i can only change my cams and nothing else in the motor,i mean do i need to change the piston, valve, shims, springs and so on.

Cams would do a big difference on there own right??

Cams will make a difference on their own, and what cam you get will depend on whether or not you need the springs too, cause some of the milder cams don't actually require them from what I'm told. I however recommend the springs regardless, because they will bring up the peak HP producing rpm up. You won't notice a major improvement, but I have ridden a DS that had cams for its only mod, and it was a difference.
Most guys go ahead and do the piston too, because the head is off to put the springs on, so they save money for another new head gasket down the line.
Oversize valves are a whole lot of money for what you get, and are the last thing on my want list.
Shims will need to be changed for proper clearance adjustment, and cost $5.00 each.
Finally, shim under bucket designed springs and buckets add even more reliability.
Then, if you go this far, might as well port the head while you're at it, and the intake manifold, and then add a bigger carb since the porting and cams allow for so much more flow, and then......etc.......etc....!!!!!

wolf,
Don't expect a night and day difference. I know lots of people that were VERY disapointed after they put in Pistons and cams(for the money). But after investing in a larger carb and porting of the head, the cams and piston is a MUST. SO if you have Ideas of later mods(as I do), then go for it.
