Master link?

Is there a master link on the chain? We looked and looked but we could not find it. And also do u guys think it would be ok to replace the stock 530 chain with a 520?? thanks Erik

no, i don't think there is a master link, if there is i couldn't find it,

Most of the bike that have original chain don't have master link till you replace it.

Even the Raptor didn't have one.....

No there is no master link on the stock chain. Someone dose make a conversion from the 530 to a 520 i just cant remember who, but someone on this fourm has done it and as far as i know they were happy with the results.

I'v often thaught about going to a 520 but considering the damage a broken chain can cause to the engine I think I will keep the 530. Whats the most you will get 1-3 HP freed up? There are other ways to get that without the risk.

If you really want to go to a 520 try contacting sidewinder I'm sure they can help you.
