sixsix, I love my f250. I have the v10, 3.73 gears and auto tranny.

I tow a 28' desert fox toy hauler, and it does very well with it. Some very steep grades it might drop me back to 50mph. But again, those are steep and of course if you get stuck behind a semi going slower then it is all over. Cant really gain back the speed until we top the hill.

Anyway, I love this truck. Had it for 9 months and have about 13,000 miles on it. Any questions ask away. Did I mention I love this truck.

Thanks for the input. My wife will be using the truck for her daily driver ,and she does'nt like the noise and smell of a diesel.(The sacrafices we make) Plus it's another 4 grand.Good luck Angrybajaboy with your hauler and keep us posted. That will be my next buy.But need a truck to pull it first.

Just got back from Pismo. 5-1/2 hour drive (including a couple short stops.)

The diesel Excursion is very comfortable for everyone. One of the nice things is the seat in the middle row reclines so even someone sitting in the middle can put their seat back and take a nap.

I will post some pictures later but, the Diesel Excursion is an impressive rig.

I am towing a 22 Front Tilt-out Weekend Warrior.

Yeah, those excursions are nice, my wife wants one eventually.

The f250 crew works very well for us, and having the bed is nice if I ever need to put an extra quad in the back.

I have the v10 and it works well for towing, probably not as good as the diesel, but it fit the budget at the time and has done very well.

The excurtion was and is a strong possibility, a little shorter would make it easier for the wife to drive and would fit in the garage. I wanted to go to pismo this past weekend. Hope you all had a good time. I was suppose to have a truck on friday, but when they went to get it from another dealer it had a liftgate on it. After that I was to bumbed out to go to pismo
