2nd Annual Sand Mountain Cleanup

The 2nd Annual Friends of Sand Mountain Cleanup will be held on
August 31, 2002 from 9 AM to 11 AM.

· We will once again be meeting at the kiosk near the second bathroom. BLM will provide the trash bags. More information regarding the cleanup can be found on our Bulletin Board.

We need your help to make the cleanup a success. Please show up and encourage others to do the same. If you are interested spending a little more of your time to make this event even more successful, please email Jon Crowley at crowley9@pacbell.net . If you are not a member of our bulletin board, please take a minute to sign up. This is the best way to ensure that you will receive future announcements regarding Sand Mountain.

· Prizes donated to cleanup participants will be raffled off immediately following the cleanup. Sponsors.

· We will have Friends of Sand Mountain T-Shirts available at the Got Sand? booth. All proceeds will go to Friends of Sand Mountain.

· We have recently finished our non-profit paperwork and can also receive tax deductible donations. Personal or business donations accepted.

· Learn why the Sand Mountain Blue Butterfly, is important at Sand Mountain.

My paddles are just about shot and with one week to go, I still can't decide which ones and how many paddles.

Just received the Federal Register notice for new rules & regs at Sand Mountain. Public has 30 days to comment. There are some "interesting" rules.

Hey jeff i will be ariving sat morning i will be in my truck i just don't feel up to towing the big pig down there.and doing all the setup for one person.later

 

For one person? Is AZsandJR not bringing that BAD A$$ 440 of hers to show off? I thought she was? Anyways it will be good to see ya again and hopefully yours will be running tops so we can go on a ride this time.
