just saw dsmike go 7.50 in the 1/8 mile at the local dragstrip... that thing seems to go faster ever week... he said that was .2 tenths quicker than he has ever went.. thats a damn fast quad for a 4 stroke with no power adder...

 

i know a polaris that does 5.40's at 136 in the 8th mile.and i'm not lying.
and it's not a snowmobile either.

 

killerkx do you any of the details on the fast polaris.

 

yes it runs a rotax 780 on methanol and a 200 shot of nitrous.and in the quarter it does 8.90 at 171. it puts out about 380 hp.it's a nasty sick machine that only wieghs about 275lbs.

yep,tom hill leaves about 6 miles from me and we get together quite often.

 

that is one fast bike.... id like to see that thing run.. but a 780 rotax is a snowmobile motor... my poor little banshee just runs 7.60's in the 1/8th.
