A couple of weeks ago my headlight broke when a friend of mine through a rock at it and broke it. I was wondering what I should do to protect a new one? How much is a new headlight? How much is this protection going to cost?

I've read some positive reviews (Product reviews done by other websites i can't list here) on Clear Guard Headlight Protection Kits (www.clear-guard.com). They use the same "material" for automobile headlight protection...they claim their headlight kits have been tested to withstand a 1 inch rock impact at up to 120 mph with no damage to the headlight lens! Not bad for $25 bucks!

If you want to know the other websites which did the "product reviews" send me an e-mail.

12pack,

That sounds like pretty good protection, have you ever used/seen clear guard?

On the website they even have fender protection for the DS & other models. It would be really interesting to see if anyone has used this and how well it worked. If this stuff worked as well as they claim, it would be a very wise purchase.
