I am looking to buy a new truck ... not a full size. And I wanted to know what everyone else uses so that I do not have to go around measuring truck beds to see if mine will fit.

I was actualy looking at a dakota today.


do the wheels clear the wheel wells or do you have to run over them?

2001 f250 superduty longbed. I usually haul a trailer but the quad does fit in the bed of the truck.

 

Does anyone use a small or mid size truck ...like nissan , toyota, chevy s-10.

i have too many toys and need one that will not take up a lot of space.

Right now I use my Jaguar xj8 and tow a trailer ...it is rough on the back trials.

 

I can load mine in the back of my 1991 s10. The tailgate use to close with the stock tires but with the 22's I have to leave it open.

 

The DS is too wide for the front tires to fit between the wheel wells of anything other than a full size truck, including Dakotas. That doesn't mean you can't go over the top of them though...it'll fit in any bed out there, just some easier than others.

 

Quadman650 drives a Toyota Tacoma Prerunner short bed 2wd and fits fine, just a lil snug
