Badrap,
What , exactly, do you think I should say in this thread? I let my business get into a bad position. I made some bad decisions to do part of it, and outside problems with other companies created the worst of it. Under advice of another shop owner talked about on this forum, I shut down to get me act together. I cut too much contact with the customers waiting, but have re-established that contact. I humbley appologize to all customers that have suffered from the problems that are ultimately mine, whether they were created by me or not. Untill you "called me out" in this thread, I didn't think it appropriate to comment. I didn't want to come here and "make excusses".
I sincerely thank those of you that have offered me support. I always plan on resolving ever customers problem, but was unsure if I should try to re-open or not. The support recieved helped me decide to fight to re-open. Rest in the assurance that things will be different when I do. I will not put myself, Team Pami, or most importantly, my customers through this again. I know that some of you will never take the chance on me in the future, and I don't blame you.
The people I am most gratefull to are the unfortunate people that have been forced to wait. Some have made comments about me, and for the most part, they are true. Again, I don't blame them a bit. I know that I would be even more vocal about it if I were in there shoes. The fact that they try to understand, and have not been near as vicious as they are entitled to be, makes me want to resolve things even more. It's the difference between disapointing a friend, or disapointing a jerk. My customers have treated me like a friend that they are disapointed, and somewhat upset with. Regardless of what else happens with my business, I will resolve everything to their satisfaction, as best as I can.
Others, most of those who don't have any right to, have been much less civil. Poeple that have never purchased from me talk about how bad my service is. Customers that backed out of PARTS orders [I didn't have their motor] after I ordered the parts for them, because I was waiting on a $2 gasket, comment that they were lucky they didn't get stuck. I got stuck with their parts untill I could sell them to someone else, but they comment like I did something wrong to them. Other shops, that did their own customers wrong, try to blame me for their own mistakes, when my part was done in a very reasoable time frame. The "me too" syndrome may be making my problems look even worse than they really are [although, I admitt, for the customers still waiting, it's as bad as it gets]. Far more customers, and sometimes just riders that have questions but no money, have been done right than wrong. I have, and continue to, sincerely appologize to customers that got poor service. I don't expect any appology from non-customers that do my business wrong.
Those that were done wrong have every right to comment, and I will not argue with them. Those that I haven't done wrong are the people that bother me with their comments.
All told, I feel that I am the best engine builder for DS650's, due to Team Pami products and research. I take great care and pride in my work, and get better with every motor I do. I wasn't about to come on this thread and say that untill your comments, Badrap. I know now that I'm not the best businesman, but I'm trying to change that. When I come back, I hope that those of you looking for serious power will give me a chance. If you chose not to, I understand. Things will be different this time. Probobly less profitable for me, but definatly better service for my customers. That is a promise!

Knutz, RIGHT ON MAN!!! It takes a bigger man to admit there mistakes than to hide from them. I admire that. As for one of these years I hope to move up in the HP ranks and I have to admit, in my search for more, I have missed your knowledgable comments on here. Get your stuff streightend out and I am sure that people will give you a chance to prove yourself. And I dont think it right of anyone to say anything when they werent directly involved with you, thats just not right. Good luck!!!

Don,
I admire what you have "finally" come to terms with!
You have been wrong for quite some time and it's good to see you finally come out and see the light! You have finally addressed this issue and the guys waiting for their motors and the folks that beleive in you have been waiting for this officially!
-Yes, you have bent over some customers.
-Yes, some have said, Don will make it right.
=Make sure, you do make it right!
The guys I ride with and have been effected by "you" are and have every right to be unhappy with you and/or Team Pami.
It is not a case that you or Team Pami are not competent to do the work. Rather, "YOU" chose to ingnore what "YOU" should have been doing for some time "communicate". Communication is HUGE!!!
You have showed a lack of this and you and Team Pami, unfortunately, are going to pay for this lack of.
I cannot say you don't and haven't brought a good amount of information to this forum, you have! I just hope that from this point forward, you can make things right for the folks you have been neglecting for WAY TOO LONG!!!
Good luck to you Don! I hope you take no offense to this.

People not directly involved are the only ones who can say anything - the guys with no motors would naturally be worried about moving to the bottom of the priority list if they go around doing any slamming - not a direct comment towards Knutz here, just a common observation with any situation in life. No rocket science involved with that simple assumption.
Action speaks louder than words for me, I make decisions on what we see, not hear or get promised. If the next couple years prove different than this one, then I'll recognize how it is possible for people to change. I just won't hold my breath.

Actions may speak louder then words but don't under estimate the power of words, especially spoken where so many can hear.
Many words (too many...including this post) have been spoken in this situation and I think its time to allow Don to make good on his promises.
I for one am willing to forgive a man for his mistakes when he can admit them and take full responsibility. He never stole anything, his only mistake was trying to help more than he could and breaking contact with the effected parties. Those parties have the right to be mad and say what they will. The rest need to step down now.
I think we should let Knutz mend his hull before any more cannons are fired, especially those from bystanders.
