I got 37tooth in the rear - I also was thinking about how rarely we got into fifth gear. There seems to be just one use for it, top speed checks. What is cool about the gearing is that first gear is useable, second is perfect for climbing the tall stuff - no shift required. Third gear is good for climbing with a bit of a run.

The clutch did start to burn a bit and work a little too hard on the heavy constant riding. I never saw the temp light come on.

Reaper - thx4 heads up dilrob. getting firewire to bring. must to put on movies from Glamis!

Hey, we had noticed that after running for a while , shutting down and starting up again, that the temp light does come on very breifly. This may be because the water is boiling near the sensor and as soon as you start up, the water starts to circulate and the light goes out.

Also, I have noticed that since the lights stick up out of the dash, any kind of sunlight can make it appear that the light has come on. The sunlight goes through the side of the protruding plastic bulb shroud and lights up the whole thing.

These two items may be some of the causes to some of the reports of intermitant warning lights.

Laters,

WARNING: Bombardier says using synthetic or semi-synthetic engine oil can burn up your clutch.

Hey reaper ever here of a thing called a helmet? You know they are used to protect your head when you jump and happen to bail!! You should invest some of that money you used to by that DS650 and get a helmet.I know you have one on in the winter photo but you probaly just used it as a hat.

Actually Mxracer98, That winter pic is the only one that is not me. Sorry. I wish AZ looked like that sometimes. If I ever do hard riding I try to remember my helmet. I don't have much upstairs to hurt anyway. I do apreciate your concern though.... I'm touched.

Dude, Look at the mark in your tire. Looks like you hit a nice rock. Too much torques isn't going to cause a two inch section of your rim to bend out like that.

Those tires are suposed to look like that. Notice that there is no ding or scratches on the rim, hence no impact. Besides there is no way that you could hit something that hard going up a wall of sand either (in the middle of the hill). Especially when there is not even a pebble for 12 square miles. My whole rim was out of round, and that as well would not happen were it an impact. I don't blame you for being sceptical though, I know that I would be. I also knew that it was imposible to do that, but keep in mind that this quad can do the impossible.

I'm wondering what air pressure they were running. My tires/rims arrived with almost no pressure. I wouldn't run under 4 psi.
