Last weekend i was trying to do a Donut to a wheelie and i rolled my ds. After that it was backfireing when i would get up to like 5000+... I took it out today and it is still doing it... What could it be, it almost sounds like it is missfireing!!

check your carb connection.

Back firing can be caused by too much air flowing in.

The other day I checked my carb and the rubber that connects it to the intake had hair line cracks ,so that might be a problem for you.

Put a little wd40 around the connection and look for a leak

It could also be your plugs, plug wires plug caps or coils. Run it in the garage with the lights off (nice and dark) and look for sparking around the mentioned areas.
Also could be a partially clogged main jet. When you rolled over the gook (?) that resides in the bottom of the float bowl can come loose and get into the jets

I had the same problem. My friend rolled my quad. The problem was that a piece of dirt was stuck in the main jet. I suggest cleaning the carb and installing a high flow in-line fuel filter, also check that the fuel
tank breather hose is not pinched

I am checked the plugs and the plug wires, that was not it. I also checked the breather tube, but that is not pinched because i moved it along time ago so it cant get pinched (but i still checked it)

So i guess tomarrow after school I will take my carb apart and blow out all the jets.

Thanks for all the help...

Ok, i did what u said and it worked(gas cap)
Would it be that bad just to take the vent tube off?
Because before u told me to do that i looked at the tube and it seemed to be fine thats why i keeped askin if it could be something else.

So does it matter if i take the tube off (i dont care if a little gas gets on the ds)

Thanks
Nick
