Who all has broken a front shock?
#1
I have heard of people having trouble with front shock failures but I just thought it was just the 00's or maybe abuse. Well it happend to me today. I was doing a little riding at a local MX track and ripped the shaft out of the top and bent that sucker L shaped. Put a nice looking hickey on the frame where it hit too. What's the problem with these damn things? I cant find where "replace front shocks" is listed in the first year of maintainance! So whats next? What's the best replacements for the money? Is it worth buying another stocker that will prolly just break again? Compression and rebound adjustments would be nice. What companies make shocks for DS's? Thanks for any info.

The problem is in the A-arms. Pre Baja or 03 the a-arms have a crappy angle to them, just ask DSaholic. Works make a real nice set of shocks custom for you and your riding style and weight. They are also the most reasonable and durable shock ou there I think.
