Does anyone make a better airbox for the ds 650? OR is there a Carb mount that bolts straight up without having to modify the bike? Info please?

K&N makes a carb mount filter that bolts right on. Not sure of the part number.

I heard that the k+n filter with the prefilter allows way to much sand in. Does uni make a filter and pre filter for the ds and will the filter make that much of a difference?

I never had a problem with mine except for the seat rubbing the filter a little, and I know lots of other ds guys that run them in the sand. You can also run the stock air box without the lid/seal and snorkels removed and plug the snorkel holes.I think dusty conditions are harder on the k&n setups than a foam filter setup.
