Uni filter

My uni filter keeps poping of, its in the box with the lid on, what do i do???

i got the carb mount and it did the same when i tightened it, so i never used it the k&n never has any problems. good luck.

Maybe you should contact Uni? I have a feeling they'll tell you to wipe all the surfaces clean and dry then re-install it. Maybe that would do it. I have heard of the Uni's popping off but not from the stock air box. Good luck, let us know what you decide to do. Some of the other guys in here run a Uni filter, maybe they can help.

Thanks, i think i will try to dry evrything, enyone that has a uni in the box care to comment on what you did?

Default Uni filter

Mine fit loose too.i wraped a couple layers of electrical tape where it fits so it fit tighter.kind of a crappy way to do it but it did worked

Scuff the surfaces with some sandpaper. It will make them grip together better.

do these come offa lot, it cocerned me. i could tell the engine was getting more are, but i thought it might come off while riding. and who knows what that might cost
