rear shock rebuild
#1
took bills advice on this one, sent my rear shock into TCS.
TCS (jason) said after receiving the shock he would have it revalved, change spring and build new collar for spring. here is the kicker . he also said he would have it done and shipped within four working days.
well, I guess there are some reliable places out there after all. TCS (jason) lived up to their word, it took a total of eight working days (including "ground" shipping there and back).
With all the bad experiences you hear about companies, I thought I'd share a good one.
How is the shock now? It feels great. but the true test will come Holloween weekend at glamis. i'll let you know.
P.S. total cost including return shipping $244.00 --- you can't beat that.

Hay Bill,
are you waiting for Roll design heel guards also?
Have they been telling you "next Tuesday" for the last month also?
MAN this sh!+ gets old. I hate being lied to.
Good luck on the timing chain...ya know, if you remove the tensioner first its alot easier but I'm sure you don't need someone stating the obvious.

hey bill, i saw on the other forum that you are still having problems getting that chain on. have you taken apart the cam bridges. and gone at it that way. if so and you are still lacking room. then the chain is most likely kinked up on the drive sprocket. this happened to me when i changed out the head.
let me know if you are still having problems.

I wanted to spread the word on another shock builder.
Pro Action of KC.
Phone# (816)243-7578
Ask for Ben
He rebuilt my rear shock and revalved it for the +4 swing arm. Did a very good job. He has also done a few other shocks for me. Everything has been top notch. The price to revalve the rear shock is $175.00. If you talk to him, and tell him what you want, I am sure he can take care of you.
