It seems to me the best way to do a 760 is to buy a complete engine and then trade in the old one as a core. Someone with enough financial backing to have a couple in stock could really do well that way since a guy could have a 760 in a matter of a few shipping days instead of a couple of months.

Yea like he said!

Is it better because Gary says it's better?

Does he have dyno #'s to back up his claim?

Not trying to knock anyone it's just that head work is all I have left and want to explore all options first.

Even Harry at Trinity told me they are going to start experimenting with the head.

ABB,

I've been doing several 'Gorman' trips the last couple of weeks, just one day deals. Right now I'm getting my jetting dialed in, I thought it was spot on but at the end of the day it was feeling and looking a little rich so now I'll try and get it perfected next trip. This weekend (Nov 9 and / or 10) we should be hitting either Gorman or with any luck maybe even somewhere more interesting (hoping to try Dumont if the 'gang' is up for it.) Later this month, I'm going to be taking some time off and heading to Laughlin so I probably wont ride again maybe the weekend of the 23rd. I have yet to hook up with any of the people from the forums yet for a riding trip, I'm sure it'll happen soon though, my ducks are starting to line up in a row so that I can go riding whenever I choose to.

Larger Valves = more flow? This is what I'm assuming. I think he had the heads flow tested?

Gary does a lot of testing on his mods. He flow tests the heads with different aftermarket carbs and pipes also. We had a long talk about the Full race pipe scenario and he said he has tested the major brands of pipes with his mods. He told me he has found that RWR pipe has had the best overall results with the engine mods he is doing. But right now he is designing a new Dual exhaust for the DS. He has also confirmed my theory about the stock headpipe and its flow characteristcs. Now I know that HMF and YOSHI aren't blowing smoke up our Keesters when they tell us they can't get anymore power out of there systems by adding a head pipe.
