I have a 2001 ds and im getting rid of those terrible stock tires and want to put new ones on. i was thinking of getting 23 holeshots on front and 22 holeshots on back. has anyone had success with that and what size sprocket should i get if i put those sizes on? also how much of a difference does the holeshots on the front and back make.

You will have better traction better ground clearance and t tougher tires change the front sprocket to a 15 tooth.
