What is the exhaust temp on a DS. Just wondering because I just had my headers and midpipe recoated(Thanx Sand45) and they said if exhaust temp is over 1300 degrees then it would fade. Thanx for the help.

 

If your exhaust gas temperature is over 1300 degree's that pipe isn't the only thing that will fade!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] If your hitting 1300 degree's then you are going to melt your piston real fast!

 

Well, I guess I have nothing to worry about then.

Tell me this...... the RW exhaust has the ceramic coating on it, and it fades, so is there coating just inferior product?
