Default IMS Fuel Tank

I am looking into purchasing a clear IMS fuel tank and I was wondering if there are interference problems. I remeber when I first joined the site there was a discussion and if I recall correctly there were people complainig of clearance problems?

The clearance over the stock carburetor is approximately one inch. Maybe just a little more if memory serves me correctly. The IMS tank also has a different fuel line & it is re-routed from the stock location, it's not as easy to get to, however I suppose it's placed there for a little added protection.
