Found the perfect turbo and hired Justin parks and the wizard to help build the system it floundered in comparision to the nitrous bottle.and @ fsw it will be between nitrous bike's plain and simple the more you pour the faster you go .Who will be willing to give it all!!!! thst is nitrous or nitro!!!!

 

By the 600 FT mark, the turbo will have been spooled up for 580 feet. (!!) (IF the proper turbo is used to match the application)

Turbo lag is MINIMAL is you are using the proper turbo. In a large engine, with a large turbo, turbo lag will be much greater.

In the turbo mazda miatas Ive worked on with small BB turbos, lag is minimal.

In a turbo BIKE, like.. say, a Hayabusa, Turbo lag is also minimal. (IF it is set up correctly!!)

In Scoobys DS, if it is a small enough turbo, the lag will hardly be there.
The smaller the turbine, the faster it will spool up and create manifold pressure. (PSI)

That turbo DS650 SHOULD absolutely RUN away from all your bikes, if he can get it to run correctly and reliably.

ps. AZSAND, FYI, A motor does not "build up manifold pressure" AND THEN spool the turbo.
The building of RPM (spooling) OF the turbo CREATES the manifold pressure. (PSI)

 

Right on Az I feel that it is going to be that way as well. The turbo bikes are interesting and they should kick butt but I know Scooby has never realy had that thing dialed in and then he makes up excuses as to why he looses. Scooby's turbo is very large for his CC's and there have been arguements over that since the bike was built. Thats the whole reason I have been getting on Scooby, along with a few others, is we all want him to come to FSW's and show us what it has. Win or loose it doesnt matter or shouldnt but just to compete to see where he stands. I actually have nothing personal against the guy, I just think he is scared to let that quad show it stuff and then still get beat. So what do you think Az, Is it going to be Nitrous or Nitro that takes home the gold? hehehehehe

 

i don't know everything mr 350x but i do know when i came up aginst a turbo 1300cc in a ds he had to use nos to get the job done. So the turbo alone was not the answer!!!! and that is fact not speculation! dont get me wrong i like turbos but they don't do good in the short run!And demon i don't know but my stronger feeling is nos! AZ, your right it was packed ove there, and no my phone doesn't work down in there! We had a good time with nobody getting hurt and everybody else with no accidents! The hill was packed all night you almost had to buy tickets to get in!!

 

Ouch! i had no problem finding harry or any of the others I looked for. Ill bet i was hard too find i was the one that did a wheelie all the way across the hill from north to south to get your attn around noon then again @ 2pm but any ways do you see with rose colored glasses or what one bike lenth with a blown clutch and god smiled on you that day. i would never brag of beating a broke bike but hey i have given you many invites to run me since you have failed to see you show. i tell you we can settle this . any way did you drive back i was looking for your truck and did not see it either! i drove back and could easily spot my truck from the top of the hill and your pretty little truck would have been easy to spot!!! AND ps there were plenty of fast fours out there !! just not fast enough [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I ment no harm hargrove thats probaly about the time i was crowd surfing !! did you find harry And yes black it was a awseome weekend all over very few major accidents that i heard of i did not hear of the one the king spoke of that sucks!

 

King i probably left at 3:30 to head to the drags at gordons well. And yes king i have seen your truck at the hill
before were you cracking back then!!LOL !

PS also people with alcahol bikes and stock tanks also drive back to conserve on fuel!!!
