I will bet that over in the Yammy forum, they will be telling everyone that they never saw a fast DS out there!! And that they never got beat by another fourstroke!!!

Glamis was awesome this weekend I arrived @10am thursday morning set camp it had rained just enought to make for no dust. it was packed !! I did a small trip into the dunes too test out the new TBR -1 swing arm it was awesome it did take some of the suspension bang out of the ds.In tight witches eyes the geometry was great.then i head back to camp need fill up then once i had a few beers i went ahead and filled the bike too!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] then it was getting dark belive it or not it started getting dark around 4-5 i headed to the drags it was out of the park it was one of the biggest drag races i had seen in a long time the new ds held its own at the drags (she fell to no rappy's and its stock Except for the piston and valves)and mayde a little alcahol. Any ways i called it a early night.the next day i awoke @ 6am and headed to Glamis to run the king i was happy i had a smile a mile wide. I stoped in yuma to get a spare i had a blowout the day before.any way's i made it to glamis i looked all over for king rappy and michealaz and mhargrove but i finaly gave up i started runnig the hill @ frist it was way to whooped for my 440 meth bike so i went too banshee hill where i made my share of cannodale and z-whatevers and banshees cry
but i got lonely so i went looking for the boy's again thats when i ran in to harry he told me they were scared of water>LMAO. so i got sad and headed back too.gordons well had another fun filled night @ the drags then went back too the toy for dinner.After dinner we did fire works entertained the kids then we put the little buggers to bed and of too freeway hill for the good stuff IT WAS PACKED!!! nudity fire jumpers draggersdune jumpers it was wild but a good crowed!! no problems that i seen its a awesome place too be after 10pm. any way i did meet some awesome people ,DSchris,timmy(tbr), greg rowe.sorry i missed you Blackds and Rayn but it was crazey as you both know!! even scooby had a chance @ the drags sat night this time they were no less than 700' long with there miles to shutdown and i actualy meet to or there more forum members sorry guy's i couldn't remeber every ones names. oh bartlett you know where to find the big ds's when you want some!!!

Sounds like Glamis was awsome this year! I was there last year, and if it was anything like last year, I know you all had a great time.

I am glad there is (so far) no bad reports. I hate hearing of bad accidents on these big weekends.

Someday the big rappy's will show there face. I just hope I get to help you and Vegas, and Jeff, and all the rest of the fast DS's throw a little sand that way[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

t think scooby has little chance a turbo must be spooled tight to be of any good and there just is not enough room for him to get in it !!! t6hats why he dose not have much of a chance!!M hargrove is young and ??????(sorry guy they prefer to call it fearless) I belive he spools his turbo at takeoff and that is leathal in its own !!! and as dsmike found out you spool at take off on a ds its over!!!

If his bike is set up correctly, as soon as he nailed it, the turbo would spool up instantly to give 20PSI and he would be gone.

no you see you must build up manifold pres. then your turbo starts to spool thats why the turbos need @ least 600 feet to do a decent job! no turbo is that fast @ spooling but the facts are on a bike most people use too large of turbos and don't spool fast enough the smaller turbo with no inter cooler is the fastest way of spooling less air mass needed . as i inderstand it !!! thats not the gospel.

Have you ever noticed the only races scooby dose good in are longer runs and the hill takes away from the response too!! not to mention the flip over factor!!!
