What makes a better goggle?
I always get scott but they fall apart real fast!!! How about the Smiths? If they are worse then the Scotts then I will just keep buying Scotts..

 

Personally I say neither, though I've never tried the Smith goggles.

I used to use the Scott goggles exclusivly, then I got tired of getting sand in my eyes any time I wasn't riding in front. I noticed one of my buddies who wears contacts was using Pro Grip goggles. (I don't wear contacts, but I know that even the slightest amount of dust in your eyes while wearing them is very annoying / painful.) I asked him if he was wearing his contacts while riding and he told me yes, and that the goggles he had weren't allowing dust into his eyes. That was all the information I needed, now I have two pairs of Pro Grip goggles and I couldn't be happier, they seem to hold up OK, and they keep all the dust out of my eyes, which the Scott goggles (various models) never did!

 

I have both pro grip and smith goggles, and they both hold up very good, but from my experience, and in the type of riding i do, the smiths hold up better, and also look better. JMO.
