Default needle clip

hi i like to know what is the difrance in the posetion of the needle clip #2 #3 #4 in drag racing and for top speed

From what i understand. The needle clip pos will determine how far the needle sets into the main jet at idle and on WOT. You would get more fuel mixing with the air the farther the needle is out of the main jet. To much fuel is to rich and not enough is to lean. Some place in between is making HP. This clip poss. you have to play with and test, test, test.

Default needle clip

The clip position of the needle determines the fuel mixture in the transition circuit, in other words "midrange" throttle. It has little or no effect on idle or WOT. It effects 1/8 to 3/4 throttle. If your midrange acceleration is crisp and strong, leave it alone.

Well there ya go.......glad I don't have to mess with that any more. But when I did mine was in the 3rd from the top and a 190 main. K&N in the box.
