i talk to a local dealer mecanek her and he told me to but 175 main jet and #4 needle and 1.5 - 2 turns in the air/fuel screw and but the airbox cover on with pipe and k&n and you will get a good power and he sayed if you change the spraket in the front to 17 and the back to 39 you will reach a top speed of 180 km/h

im thinking of installing them but without changing the sprakets . any ideas needed

Did you ever look at buttfunguses site for his link to Other DS rider mods?
Those jetting changes may be fine. But what elevation you ridding at. Even air temp makes a diff. What kind of pipe. You must be going for top end with that gearing suggestion??

i have a trinity pipe with k&n filter and i ride in a sea side level so do you think 175 with 3 turns in the air/fuel screw and #4 needle posetion will work fine for drag racing and top speed

If your running a mikuni main jet that should be fine. I would pick up a 177.5 main also jsut in case and give that a try as well. If your running dyno jets than prolly not. You should try 185 to 190 mains. The clip pos. is the same as I use to run stock carb and dyno jets with a 190 main, 2 3/4 turns on the pilot.
