Good Deal?
Hey chris hows it going. The price on the head is close to the ron woods. So if i was going to spend that much i would have the woods head its like 1850. And comes with ported intake too!!but if i were you and could find a local shop to do the work reasonable. I belive i would give them a try. But they must remeber they are not ron woods and do not have the track record he dose and do not deserve to charge what he dose!!! or woods is the way to go he is very proven!!!good luck!!! Good Deal?
DSChris:
How much bigger are the valves? Sam Coe does 1mm larger (than stock valves) and porting for I think $500 but, if you want to get into a FULL Race Head (Pami and Ron Wood) the valves will be 39 inlet and 34 exhaust (I think Ron Wood are 1mm larger on either the inlet or exhaust.)
Does that price include valve springs? Are new retainers needed? What about cams? Is the piston price included in the $1750? If the $1750 is just for larger valves in the head and port work, talk to Ron Wood (like AZ said) or Gottfried. Go with people that have done a few of these, actually, have done a ton of these.
