With stock jetting & air intake it would be right? Have you modded your intake?? Filter? Open Lid? NO box??

i love it, looks great, sounds great, but i can't compare it to stock since i had already modified my endcap to get more power, but even compared to my slighty modified endcap its still has more power on the bottom, if you have a stock pipe i'd highly suggest this pipe to anyone, you'll love it

I had a chance to do some riding this weekend with Jiminok and his daughter(megan), and he has a MBRP slip-on.

First I would like to say that Everytime I meet a Forum member, they always seem to be Great guys, and Jim and Megan are no exception. The pipe sounds GREAT! and his quad is a runner for sure(stock). The sound is quietly aggresive(if that makes since), but still has great low, mid range. Jim has no trouble lofting the front end in the air and pulling any steep trails with little to no run at them(torque).

Anyways, I though I would give my .02 cent on how the Pipe performed on the DS(from a bistandard POV). I am sure Jim and others can give you allot more detailed Information on true performance.

Biggerisbetter.

Dang it! Don't know if I can type now that I'm all misty-eyed...LOL! Thanks for the props, biggerisbetter...it was awesome to finally meet such a great ambassator of this sport and your rig is SAWEET...dig them horns, too! Megan wants to put deer antlers on her blaster now...a blue JACKAROO!

Anyway, just want to give my humble opinion on the MBRP slip-on for the DS...in my best "forrest gump"--I like it alot. As bigger said, the sound is a good low rumble to a full throaty growl without completely scaring all the animals out of the woods. It may or may not be 'the one' for guys (or gals) who are all about drag racing...but for all around performance I know it is 'the one' for me.

Installing the pipe took a little bit of head scratching...as lilnotts mentioned...the little A brackets that the springs hook to were in fact set further back on the slip on--after popping a vien or two I was only able to get two stock springs to go on and had to use a blaster spring in the third position. They didn't line up exactly either --just minor things. The pipe looks great on the DS and is held firmly in place with the mounting bracket that also shines nicely.

I've ran the stock, Pro Circuit's T-4, and WB's E-series. I think the stock cleans up real nice and performs excellently with the modified end-cap(saw and felt that first hand this weekend); the T-4 was a good pipe for the money(@ $buckeighty-nine); the E-series was super for the short time that I ran it and it really brought the topend of the powerband to life after adding (12+8) disks. All these pipes require regular maintenance that most of us neglect or do not do in order for them to perform at max efficiency...that is where the MBRP pipe shines the brightest in my book. No maintenance other that keeping it wiped down and looking good!

I honestly can't say anything negative about the pipe...as AZSAND mentioned, strange to look at at first...unusual design--definately...performance--A+++...GREAT BUY!

jiminok, i had to pull really hard on the one spring with Vise Grips and get my buddy to push it up, i think the was the bottom one, but i did use all the stock springs and they look a little stretched now,
and i LOVE the looks and performance, i've got lots of compliments on it, and i know how u feel, i almost broke out in tears when i saw that beautiful pipe
