Default Intake Adapter

Part No# 707800076...If anyone out there has access to this part and could help a guy out please pm me. I called two local dealerships...the price is between $24-$28 but can't get it for two weeks! BTW, everyone, take a good look at yours...mine has many cracks that may or may not be superficial.

Thanks,

Jim

jiminok,
Most people take that part off and run a K&N filter direct to the carb!
But if you need a new the rubber intake tube that goes between the carb and air box,you should be able to find lots of people here that have taken them off

Jeff...I guess I should have clarified that its the short boot between the carb and the intake manifold...I just put the direct mount on (thanks, "taxi") and that's when I noticed the cracks

jiminok,
I was going off the part #, if you ordered a #707 800 076..You are going to get the intake tube.
If you want the Carburetor Adaptor .....order #711 267 240

Maybe you could modify a radiator hose or something?

Am I the only one that has noticed Jeff is geeking out with his new parts CD

What was the part number for that CD again? I need one too.

Now I'm really confused...Jeff, I called the dealership with the number you had and they said that is the intake manifold...I ordered a parts no# catalogue instead! I'll probably end up with swing arm bolt...good grief!!!

Whadaya think of using some liquid electrical tape as a sealant on this part? I'd be concerned about the heat rating this close to the jug...just a thought while thinking...
