i read that K&N dont offer as good filtration as the open pore foam, beacuse UNI is thick it trapes all dirt, but on a K&N, if the dirt aint stopeed right away it dont get trapped at all. plus the pod filter i got was like 15$ way less than a K&N

uni has it's own oil, bought it thru my dealer (parts unlimited) also comes with cleaner. the instructions say to pour into a container and roll filter thru it, squeeze off excess. i did this and what a mess!! the oil is like honey and even after ringing off it still gooed over night. then i went to install prefilter and more goop came off. next time very little oil will be used.
