Team-Pami is preparing two motors for Rotax/Bombardier to run
the "Paris - Dakar" One rider is a "wild guy" from South Africa - Vicus van Deventer.

 

He is #171 the race is over 8,000 km long this year

 

It is supposed to be televised on one of the cable channels....Speed channel?

Yes the "SPEED" channel, formaly SPEEDVISION will have extensive coverage of the Dakar rally. I sure hope they show more quads this year.

They did show the DS on one of the early stages in Spain last year. It was all mud tracks and rain. The DS had one of the best times of the day. It was about one or two foot of mud and water. The bikes were falling all over the place. The cars got stuck every where and the DS just power through it.
