Scooby we bought a black rappy and shipped it too turbo tech and had only had it back two weeks when reliable sources told me they were going too be releasing the lighter ds soon we only rode it a couple of times it ran great but a 60-70 lb ds was of more intresting too me i sold the rappy too a friend . my very reverd friends and sources were wrong i have no fast rappy and no super light ds. OR DO I?????

My source says there will be a Baja DS-650 with an aluminum frame making it 50 LBS lighter released next year or are you talking about your secret DS from the junk yard ????

no my the totaled ds is done it is verwy pretty and is a force to be recond with and it only cost me 10'000 thats half of what my biggie cost in its frist stage[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] no people very hi in the bomb ranks told me that and some good friends also told me but it still is not happening[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

I was asking my dealer about that lighter quad a few weeks back and they said that it was being put on hold. They didn't seem to want to sacrafice any reliability / durability.

Hope they change their minds.

Don't want to bad mouth anyone but, I thought I remembered someone had bad luck with Turbo Tech. May want to do a search before shelling out any $$ or shipping off your motor. (I could be wrong but, good to search. Maybe even ask the company for a list of satisfied customers and call them prior to your order.)

 

Aerodyne Dallas actually answered the phone today! They are starting to repair turbos again. Looks like they might not be closing? Now I can get my spare turbo repaired, but not any time soon due to back log. Now I don't have to worry as much about pushing my turbo to the limit!!

 

Scooby, does your head gasket still leak when you go over 20 psi???

I think you may have to push the envelope to stay ahead of all the NITRO,and huge amounts of Nitrous at FSW's

I have done a couple of new things to solve that problem or improve it. We will see next weekend. The seal was holding on Sunday, but I didn't go over 20psi.
