I see the rules violations of 1.1 What are the forum rules?


No commercial Advertising. No posting of commercial web addresses, phone numbers or links in either forum messages, private forum messages or in the author's signature. No use of company names in forum author nicknames or any type of solicitation for commercial business or gain.

So if some body ask how to get hold a company they have too be a spsonor of ATV conection? If they are not a sponsor we can say there name? Is this what you are talking about Dbeck?

 

Sure, if you don't own the company, aren't sponsored by it and otherwise don't have any connection to the company and you're responding to someone looking for info, sure, you can post a link. You have to be able to help people.

BUT if THE company goes out and post something, or if they call their buddy to do it, or any other reason that the company or their associates was involved in the posting OR REPLIES then the thread is removed or individual messages are removed from the thread.

Nobody said YOU did anything wrong.

We delete 1/2 dozen threads a day or better. On a forum with 48,000+ pages read each day and 27,500 members you're going to have folks who forget the rules or don't really realize what the rules are. Nobody should take it personal unless they are blatantly trying to be a problem which does happen sometimes.

Bills a great members and we love having him on this board. I guess when I first replied to this thread I should have been more direct that it wasn't Bill. Frankly, it surprises me at times that people care that much about one thread. Glad people are serious about the forums!

 

I go outside for 5 hours for some fresh crisp air and come in and this thread still hanging around.

I thought it would be over when I gave AZSAND a new ICON to stomp on.
