I just read in dirt wheels that bombardier is improving the ds 650 for 2004...they are makeing it lighter by putting stuff like a aluminum swingarm,new headlight set up,and more..they have shaved 30 pounds off so far and plan on shaving 30 more off before its releases...also it comes with stronger rims ,ohtsu tires,and new shocks.....all of that for a lower price of 6599$,sounds good to me!

 

Yeah I just read that, it looks pretty sweet so far, that new headlight display looks awesome also.

BAHH!! Well too late to wait for 04' model. Guess you just need to have enough muscle to ride the quad and not let it ride you. Im extremely happy with my 03' model. There was no way I was gonna wait till 04'. Hopefully the lite weight doesnt make it feel like the Raptor or Predator. Those two quads feel so fake and cheap. Ohh well just my 2 cents.

 

If it has reverse, maybe it can win a shoot out? May not be needed but it could win!

 

I'm gonna get that headlight as soon as I can - never could figure out why anybody would've put glass on a quad in the first place!!
Check it - the article says the headlight is "3 to 6 lbs. lighter" - which is it man, WTF!!
