All these people spending big bucks on their machines, then an opportunity comes along to get what are by far the best shocks I have ever heard anyone speak about and only a couple people are ready to step up to the plate? Maybe that is why FSW2 was such a one-sided event, no one wanted to spend cash on shocks, just HP. I'm going bolt-on for power however now that this is an option I think I'll go King when I have the extra cash to buy a new set of shocks, you really can't go wrong with the best. (Isn't that why we all have DS650s instead of Raptors?)

That's right Black hawk! Hey Marky they are heavier than most shocks, the guy told me that the shocks with a-arms weighs about 18 lbs. They hae 7/8 inch shafts!!?? MAybe someone else could develop the A-arms for them out of T-6 Aluminum or something. But if you have ever ridden in or on something with King shocks man o' man are you in for a real treat!! You wouldn't even know that those whoops existed at Olds!. Here is the info for the place that is doing them as quoted to me by Dave at King Shocks.

(SO CAL FAB SHOP IS WHO IS DOING ALL THE QUAD WORK, YOU MIGHT WANT TO CALL THEM THE NUMBER IS 661-252-0455)

THANKS

ok so now with the kings i'll have 15" of front travel and 14" rear. whats this thing going to do when i turn? i can see the forward advantage of smoother ride but with 3"of sag will it be to mushy to handle? now with stock travel and stiffer tcs shocks no real roll in the corners, will this be the down side of these new shocks

talked to so cal fab today. they said there waiting for a guy to drop off a ds for fitting. once he gets a machine about a month. he said that there has been some interest for the kings on ds's and has a raptor out there www.socalfab.com check out the raptor in the photo section. i asked about how much higher the machine would sit and he said not to much higher than stock ( about 2" taller) and not really any bad handling manners with extra travel now we need who ever it is to drop there ds off there so they can get started. he has received interest from some of us and souds good to produce the suspension to handle the king's. hurry up and wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well that is my quad they are waiting on. I am planning on taking it to them on monday, but it is just so they can take some measurements, and so I can get an idea of the pricing. They quoted orginally around $2500.00 just for the fronts so I need to see what it is for the whole schmear. I am having some slight financial difficulty all of the sudden so I am still not sure if I am going to be able to do it yet. But I will keep you posted.
