I will be getting Motowoz Shocks for my DS in a couple weeks to go with my TBR A-arms. 2in. higher on a DS is way to high for any kind of riding.

King Shocks are by far the best shocks around, bar-none. The last two Sand Sports shows I went to, there were a total of three (3) rails in the entire show that I saw that did not have King shocks. An industry wont be THAT one-sided without an extreme difference. I also have a friend who put some on his Baja bug and he said the difference was amazing.
It might be early to say wether or not the machine would end up truly being two inches taller with the shocks - they haven't even taken measurements to start building the kit at this point. I'm not sure how much taller than normal the Raptor is supposed to be when equipped with Kings shocks, but I do know the Raptor I saw in person that had them didn't look overly tall. (It just looked DAMN GOOD! - even for a Raptor! )
DSRide,
Keep us all up to date on the Motowoz shocks, I love the idea of more choices - no one setup is right for everyone, not even the Kings. How much are the Motowoz going to set you back? How much are the TBR A-Arms & any other parts needed to complete the project?

I first heard about Kings in the Baja racing world. It just seemed every big time racer all used custom King shocks. Hell some of these shocks fully lengthend were as tall as the person showing them!!! I saw a ford F250 that had a 6" lift running 37" tires on it and talked to the guy. He had prior tried single, double, and triple shock setup's and still just couldn't get the ride and performance he was looking for. He went to a company that had Kings made for him. He said it was like a whole new world now. The one single King on each corner had far better performance than any of the combinations. It rode like butter but he claimed he would tackle any kind of road with it. I tell yah thos big ol remote rezzies that were on it sure looked cool under those fender wells!! Anyway. in agreement with Blackhawk, King's are just that....the Kings of the shock world. I dont think you will have problems with the handleing...a company like that isn't going to put something out that would compromise performance of any sort. I know when i get my rail I wont have another shock besides Kings!!!!!!!
