Default Glamis...What to expect?

Thanks Blastnbaja & BR.
Blastnbaja, If I can convince the group to drive even farther than Gecko road, I'll take you up on the brew! Don't those six pack racks come in handy? I have the Armadilla rack.

yeah i've tried talking them into goung to glamis, but they'll be taking kids and like the camping atmosphere at gordon's. Me being 24 prefer the party atmoshere. Either way I have fun. well if anyone will be at gordon's stop by richard's Atv camp ground, I'll be there.

BM, yes the sixpack racks can come in handy. Please take out what you brought in and if you've got the room grab an extra laying around and take it back out with you too.

Thanks.

Blastnbaja, we'll be at Gordon's Well and we'll be throwing back several cold ones as well. Hope to see you there.

How far is it to ride from Gordons Well to comp hill?
Sounds like the best of both worlds...park where its quiet and ride over to check out the action.

Its about a 30-40 minute ride, from Gordons Well to comp hill at Glamis, have to take the sand highway all the way due to the closures, we did it 4 weeks ago, my Bomber and a 400EX, stuff the fuel in them, you will need it if you plan to dune after you get past the closures, my friends 400 went on to reserve about 3/4 of the way back, I never did....... however i couldnt run as fast as i wanted over and back, the 400 was running hard in 5th I was cruzing in 4th so i didnt use as much gas as the 400.
You can get gas over at the Glamis store if needed we didn"t, its a fun ride, you"ll know you"ve rode when you get back to Gordons Well, my 400 ex friend was wishin he had a Bomber!!!!

If you havn't been hook up with a forum member heading out that weekend. Camping with someone that knows the ropes will only add to the experience. They will know where the big hills are, how to get to the huge bowls, how to crest the giant razor backs and not meet up with some drunk idiot in a full suspension buggy...Glamis is my favorite place to visit, but a good trip can go bad without glamis experience. When in doubt go to welder Doug for help.
have a great time...I hope you like it as much as everone else.
