Oh yeah some punk kid with a brand new banshee kinda laughed when he saw my ds and said "mine will smoke yours". Well we raced and I beat him on the first try [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] He says "man I didn't hit my powerband just right, blah blah"

 

they are all that way, and if they win look how much they had to put in there machine

 

My friends all have 250R's and none of them think I have a chance with my stock DS. Well, I got a set of Haulers now, and pretty soon we will know one way or another. I can't wait!!

 

Don't go that far overkill.
My friend has a 250r and it was extreamly close when mine was stock. He was lightly modded but his engine was tired. He beat me 1/2 runs. Both times it was who ever got more traction. I am not sure who will win when I am done with my mods this winter. He will be rebuilding is also..

 

That's not good news!! I knew I should have gone for the 10 paddle Extremes! The one I am most interested in racing has spent a lot of $$ at LRD getting his 250R turned into a 310 stroker. Maybe I'll have to invest in upgrades sooner than I had planned...

 

Don't get the 10 paddle if you are still stock, they will slow you down. IMO you need to be atleast a stage 1 to turn 10 paddles.

 

the 310 will be a problem just don't let them have the holeshot go 15-42 0r 43 and they will have to be ready for you, oh and change to at least a k&n , and mix a little race gas about two gallons to a 5(don't tell them about that one) it is the sneaky raptors that you have to watch for because they are all stock, but i've never seen those pipes they run sold stock. hey go have some fun[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
