I just got confirmed what a friend told me last night (his best friend just went thru this)...Insurance company's are re-constructing accidents involving Motorhomes w/ trailers to determine if the Motorhome was over the Gross Combined Weight Rating at the time of the accident. IF you were OVER the weight limit at the time of the accident, they will NOT pay ANY of your claim...vehicles, medical, property damage, etc. OUCH!!

 

And there are a lot of rigs out there that are over the limit

my trailer is a flo snowmobile 4 place inclosed 1200 lbs emtpy. about 4000 loaded. but i know alot of guys use car trailers that weigh 5000 lbs to start with.

 

jeffroe, how many ds' can fit in your 4 bed enclosed snowmobile trailer?

 

this is jeffroe (ds'r at home) i can't really get 2 ds's side by without serious tire rubbing. but i can get 4 machines forward and one more cross wise in the back, with room for gear. it's a 24' flo inclosed. tows real nice being so lite.
