Default Bent Valves

What would cause bent valves. What damage besides the valves can happen. Dealer says they are bent the claims adjuster is to inspect the funny thing is they can't answer the question how.

That is a strange one.....
Bent at the top..or at the bottom?
If the cam timing became way off...maybe? did the cam tensioner fail and jump time?

that does sound odd i would want to see the head before they removed the valves. mine got out of time and some stuff went bad and no valves hit anything.

Do you have a rev limiter? If not at some point and time you floated the valves and smacked the piston. Usually the exhaust valve will be bent because they seem to be at a looser tolerance. Odds are you have a couple of nice dings on the top of your pistons. Good luck!
