Are you SURE this Baja is New???????????

I am going to be getting a new Baja 650 soon. I talked to a dealer about 2 hrs away and he has the best price by about 300 bucks.
This is all in Canadian funny money so I will leave it at that. My question is, aside from the nibs on the tires, which could be swapped, how can I tell on the day I go to pick up my new beast that it is in fact brand new and is not a demo unit.

Are there a couple of this I can look at closely to tell if this unit has more than 1 or 2 miles on it. I assume after they assemble it, they will fire it up and take it for a small test run.
Thanks

One place I'd look first is the sprockets. If the sprockets don't look worn at all you can be relatively certain it hasn't been ridden. Next I'd look at the edges of the tire knobbies to see if they are still sharp.
If your new machine has been sitting on the showroom floor for some time you can expect to see some scuff marks on the rear fenders. This doesn't mean the atv has been used, it comes from people climbing aboard and bumping their shoes on the fenders.

I would expect that it has probobly been riden around the parking lot if it's been at the dealership for a while. The lithium grease on the chain is a good sign, but I have seen dealers "clean that up".
The best way to tell is by the feel [or look if you want to tip the bike up] of the plastic sprocket and brake protectors. It should be smooth and flat. If it's scratched or gouged in any way, the quad has been used off-road and is a demo unit, at least.
