Thanks Guys...all good tips The dealer said he can "get one in" in 1/2 a day from a fellow dealer who owes him. I just want to make sure he is not given a demo to sell to me. Hey ATV Buddy, I live NW of Stony Plain on an acerage and will be using the Baja to rip up to my lake cabin on Lac Ste. Anne. Should be about a 1/2 hr rip...unless I stop to play along the way!!!

Just ask the Dealer if it's a Demo. I can't imagine a Dealer would lie to a customer! Seriously, tell the Dealer you don't want their floor model, if they still have one in a crate, have them show it to you in the box, and go with that one. It doesn't take too long to uncrate and prep a new unit, I'd be willing to spend the hour or two it takes to do it for the peace of mind gained from knowing it hasn't been demo'd. If the don't have any crated ones left, look over all the assembled ones they've got, most dealers don't prep their bikes until after they're sold, look for one with the battery disconnected and an empty fuel tank. Check the other obvious stuff as well, like tire wear, scratches, dirt, etc.
