Default HEADLIGHT RECALL

When I purchased my 2001 in January it had a rock chip in the lens so that water could get in the 2nd time I rode the bulb shorted out. So I called around to find a new lens and bulb. They wanted 100.00 plus for the set. When I had got there one of the top mounts was busted off. And this was straight out of the box.
Hopefully the 04’s will not have this problem with there new set up.

Hey Phreek, I've been considering the HID light and and checked out the $199.00 special, buuuuut I've been skeptical of the result. How well does it work over the stock setup? Ive got a baja and the triple light setup works pretty well.

works considerably well over the stock, presidents weekend i had poeple all over looking at me, when i was sitting at comp hill just above the staging area pointed at the hill, it almost blinds people coming down, but keeps it lighted very nicely for the people going up. i looked at my light pattern compared to other stock lights with halogen bulbs and i could only see their patterns right in front of the bike. i would say that the 200 bucks is well woth it.

i was looking into the trail tech setup with the bar mounted lazer lights, but i think i will use the money towards something else.
