Hey jeffroe, i did this to my bike. If your interested in seeing it go check out my web site and look at my photo section. There was some cutting and welding involved, but i utilized the stock bracket to do it!

Default batt relocate

Jeffroe,

I have my battery mounted it the center(kinda like quadloco) but my battery follows the angle of the tool pouch. It was very simple to do, I just made a couple L-brackets and used the mounting holes that was used for the airbox, and then went up and drilled another hole into the flat piece that wraps around and becomes your tail-light mount. I really like it and it cost me about $10 to do it and it looks great.

PM me if you have any questions.
