Default is the "hsr" 45mm carb the same as i have?

Hi, i have a 45mm carb i bought from azsand and i am finally getting around to ordering a part it needed. Well i went to www.sudco.com to get the part for it and the only carb i can find similar to it is the "hsr" 45, they are also in 42's and 48's i think. It looks like the same carb, just different name? Am i right? I just dont want to order the wrong part for my carb. Thanks, Sean

Funny - all literature states its the HSR45, but look at the side of the carb - its stamped TM45, and HSR is nowhere!! Go figure.
It works just about like all the others in their TM line I think.

You guys got my curiosity up so I went to the Sudco website to investigate. I also went to the Mikuni site, no help there but they do have plenty of info on the HSR
Best I can figure is that the TM is a OEM carb used on many different makes and models inc snowmobiles. The HSR is available as an aftermarket upgrade and is no doubt the unit that we have been calling the TM
Kehin also has a TM series carb but there is no resemblence
This is my best guess with the info available.

TM is the official Mikuni designation for the carb.

HSR is the Sudco name for that series. Sudco primarily sells that carb for Harley Davidsons, so the HSR has something to do with Harleys.

TM=HSR!
