I was truely worried about the value on my 00 DS going down when the 04s hit the dealers.
Now I feel much better

I hope none of this is true. If so, it will be a downgrade for Bombardier.

Them designers up in Canaduh must be smoking some pretty good bud.

If these new specs are true, they'll never sell me a new DS. I'll stick to the '00-'03 ones.

If they are going to do all off this stuff to the ds (which sucks!!) to make it smaller, what the hell happened to being 60lbs lighter? Me personally I don't believe that bomb would do that. I just don't think bomb would let their customers down like that.
I don't know what the deal is but I'm only about 150lbs and I love the length and width of mine. Why do you think I bought it? What I'm trying to say is I'm small due to age and I don't know what "smaller" people are complainig about being to big and heavy. I love my wide, big, and heavy ds and all you 400ex riders can get the hell otta my way!!! 400ex riders meaning all of my friends have 400ex's and make fun of my "tank" untill they get a face full of rocks and other trail debris when I pass them like their standing still. I'm not comparing my ds to a 400ex so dont start...... not like they can compare them or anything. Hee hee

Guess it will be easy to find a home for even those 2001 A-Arms Who would have thought I could get anyone to pay me for them!!!

If they do make the ds smaller, maybe the resale will go up on our larger ones, I don't think they should make it narrower, unless they can give it a lower center of gravity.

lower is easy 7-10" of travel and 18" tires. these new machines might be better suited for the circus than the trails?
