Got my KFX 700 Today
Well just got back. Bike ran great, need to get a K&N, pipe and a cdi. The CVT works nothing like the ones on the Polaris, it pulls right off the bottom like you just released the clutch, when you come off the throttle it engine brakes just like you were down shifting it. My left foot twitched a bit until I got used to it. For a stock bike the engine pulls great. My son ran it against a stock Raptor on the hill and beat it (he's just under 200 lbs, 100+ lbs lighter than me). It duned great, I bought a set of Gecko's for it (not sure if I like them). Against my DS with my son on the DS and me on the KFX he would pull me by quite a bit on comp hill, but there was only one four stroke a Curtis Sparks Raptor (on some funny fuel) that beat him all weekend. On the flat out run top speed of the DS and the KFX were about the same, the DS beat me there too but considering the weight difference (Bike and Rider) and the fact that the KFX was stock, I feel the KFX has great potential. Handling is great I could pound thru the woops and stay right with the DS. The steering was light and it went were you pointed it, no bump steer. The KFX wheelies great. Just apply the throttle and the front end comes up effortlessly. Makes handling the rough stuff fun. The bike is fun and fast.
DSMIKE
Its a little longer but narrower. It is very stable at any speed. Great balance and low center of gravity.
BLUELEADER
Was able to wait until the next morning before going out and checking it out.
KINGRAPTOR
Apache Honda, saw another one (orange) at Metro Motor Sports. Dirt and Street Motorsports got one (orange) in too (they left me a message on friday)
FASTONE21
Talked with four stroke tech a couple weeks ago, Thanks.

Shaneb; p650 has 4x37. maybe all kawa?
badbandit, there is a black box coming out really soon for the p650 from Diamond g racing, that will over come the timing thing that kawasaki has, should help on pickup and top end, if it'll work on 700 I'm not sure. There is a pic of a p650 taken out to 750 going 94 MPH on dyno on nyroc site, with the black box. There are also some pulse generators around that should really step up that 700 if needed.
Have fun.

Not sure if there is anything written. On the p650 and 700 there is a speed sensor, on the right hand side of the motor down by the brake. This sensor is looking at the teeth on one of the trans gears, every tooth that goes by the sensor is a pulse, the amount of pulses per second is the frequency, which is sent to the CDI box. What the frequency gererator does is fool the speed sensor into thinking you are going faster than you really are, by generating pulses, it advances your time. The pickup is unbelievable, but no more top end speed.
Diamond G CDI box will give you both pickup and more top end.
