They didn't do anything about the weight. 20lbs accomplishes nothing. They needed a 20% reduction in weight, not less than 5% weight reduction.

 

I'm sure I'm not alone here, but I could stand to lose 20 pounds myself. That makes the total drop in weight 40 lbs.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I've been saving a few bucks and waiting until the middle of April to make my purchase. I have no immediate need to have a machine until the weather here in MI begins to warm up a little. These minor modifications are good for those who are going to be purchasing a new machine. Next I'll be contacting a couple of local Bomb dearlers a call and see if they can order and have the new models by April or May. Based on the websites information, I assume that Bomb's manufactuing facility is producing and shipping the new models.

 

Considering they added extra itmes (makes it heavier) and still lost 20 lbs overall that isn't bad. For the guys running just on the sand, they can take off those things and probably get several more Lbs lighter as well. However for a lot of people, Nerf Bars & aluminum skid plates are a must, so this ATV will appeal to them even more since they wont have to spend an extra $200-300 on those parts after they just bought a brand new ATV.

bombs is starting to remind me of cdale....same model...w/ more crap on it...the only between the 2...cdale mad the other models a little faster...bombs just keep get fatter!!!! and slower!!!!
