Default MBRP pipe question.

in that case I would get the end cap from markynark, and save the rest for other mods, a slip-on is not going to change the tork range enough to justify the cost, just ask sandman430, stock appearing exhaust and the right gearing and he was kick'n a$$ on comp hill a couple weeks ago......

Default MBRP pipe question.

Well since you say that I already have a pipe, an FMF Power Core 4. So will I gain much by going to an MBRP? I wanted a pipe that would hit hard in mid range and pull hard on top. The FMF dont seem to be like that. It helped low end but I dont need it there.

Default MBRP pipe question.

pushin save your money for the full pipe, like rotaxrules said, and the trinity he has is a great looking pipe but then again his quad looks better than new. if you want a hard hit just work with your gearing it is cheap and it will do wonders, i've went to lower gearing and been faster across the whole power band, start with a15 up front then go from there. you will find the point that you really like, most of the ride on trails is in the mid range. my friends that i ride with have raptors and they compete very hard against each other, and they couldn't find a pipe to out do the other, it came down to gearing and tires. so i would try gearing and clutch springs to make sure the power is making it to the tires i think woods got new springs, or gary has springs that work good, i've heard the pami are very stiff, so if you don't ride sand i'd recommend the others, i have both of the others, and they work great and we ride a lot of sand. i have heard the woods will fade, but haven't had a problem with them yet.
