Just wondering if anybody can tell me where I can find a used/new rear axle for a 01 DS.

I found that Rockey Mountain has a good price on the Durablue axle

Dura Blues are junk.Spend the extra $$ and buy a RPM Dominator.Much stronger axle. late,zubbeyboy

Supposably,but i know they have a bad reputation.And if your axle breaks its not fun tearing your bike apart sending axle to Dura then waiting then have to reinstall the new oneif they even replace it at all.Thats a pain in the azz.

Buy the RPM Dominator and be done FOREVER.And they look better also. late,zubbeyboy

how do the prices compare. is the dura blue stronger than stock?

I am currently running a durablue axle. Seems to be holding up just fine. I trashed my stock axle in a bearing blow out. In my research I only found to aftermarket companies making axles for the DS, one was durablue, and the other is RAD. RAD makes 2 axles, an aluminum and titanium. Not cheap, I believe ?$700+ but that includes the bearing carrier. RAD seems to make some quality products, I have there billet bearing carrier.
