Silver Lake MI April 30th
Wednesday, April 30th, 1/2 dozen of use from Indiana going to Silver Lake.
I know its early, and the sand will be clumpy like it always is in April, but we never can wait, so we're going anyway like we always do.
Plan to hit it again in September, when sand is prime, again as usual.
Come if you can, drags on the beachfront. My bike listed below, a raptor, banshee, R, EX's, little of everything. Bring what you got, its all in fun!

No, never planned on Snakehunt - would like to but too many trips planned this year, going to utah/idaho in June, and Yellowstone in May (not a riding trip, so April has to be a close on.
Maybe Snakehunt next year though.

Sam - We go on weekedays for several reasons - work schedules, ol' lady's, no crowd we own those dunes this time of year on weekdays, and most of the time its free 'cause there's not enough people there to bother having a dnr guy taking money or selling michigan stickers. This means you can sometimes get away without sparky's and quiet core inserts.
Linotts - you need a flag that's like 10' off the ground - they sell them there, spark arrestor required (if they're checking), 98dB limit @4,000rpm on their meter (again if they're checking), Michigan DNR sticker good for year also sold there, pay daily. That's all that's needed, paddles recommended but not required - tallest dune is under 100', your realtors will scoop some sand backwards. Do a search on the net for silver lake, there's a site with ll the rules.
